Here at AgWest Commodities, we recognize that while producers are good at growing a crop, or raising livestock, many struggle with selling it. Whether you need help creating a marketing plan and executing sales, navigating the many tools available to manage risk, or managing the stress that comes with it all, the AgWest team serves as “Your Marketing Partner.” Specializing in agricultural price risk management and customized marketing plans for 20 years, we are proud of our humble roots as one-man shop in the basement of a farmhouse. Continuing our dedication to customer service and building lasting relationships, we have grown to today’s 50 member team in 10 offices across the Midwest. In a relationship-based industry AgWest puts a large emphasis on getting to know individual producers and their needs. With a client retention rate of more than 90% for the past 11 years, AgWest's Revenue and Profit Management (RPM) program utilizes custom marketing plans, recognizing that no two farms are alike. A cash advisor works with the individual producer to determine projected cost of production and then utilizes merchandising techniques to add value to on-farm storage, working to mitigate risk and recognize opportunity. AgWest was initially founded in 1999 on the CORE Hedge Plan offering a simple, yet effective, approach to production marketing. Since its creation, CORE has been time tested by real producers who follow a structured plan, establishing a price floor and encouraging selling into price strength. This plan was the groundwork for all AgWest programs, allowing first time or experienced hedgers to take price speculation out of their cash crop enterprise. THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING FUTURES AND/OR OPTIONS IS SUBSTANTIAL AND EACH INVESTOR AND/OR TRADER MUST CONSIDER WHETHER THIS IS A SUITABLE INVESTMENT.PAST PERFORMANCE, WHETHER ACTUAL OR INDICATED BY SIMULATED HISTORICAL TEST OF STRATEGIES, IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.
