As a consultant, I partnered with the State of Kansas Chief Information Technology Architect (CITA) to develop a vision of how the IT project oversight office could be organized, and to develop strategic objectives the office must meet in order to be successful.
Key Responsibilities
➤ Performed research and benchmarking of how other U.S. state technology offices are structured to understand best practices within similar offices.
➤ Conducted stakeholder interviews with agency CIOs, chief information technology officers (CITOS), legislators, and agency staff
➤ Develop a comprehensive SWOT analysis of the current state of the IT project oversight office and their service offerings.
➤ Presented a recommendation to the Secretary of Administration at the end of the engagement to address opportunities and challenges.
