In 1973, a group of individuals banded together to form what would later be known as Imagine the Possibilities – a nonprofit organization that is purposed to serve individuals with disabilities. While not known then, the leaders of this organization would later join many other like-minded organizations across the state of Iowa that all had one common theme in mind – to empower people to reach individual achievement across the spectrum of life. The focus of Imagine the Possibilities has always remained the same: to give people equal opportunities to reach their goals and be an active member of their community. One of the things that Imagine the Possibilities prides itself on is the growth opportunities for their employees, and Imagine the Possibilities has worked endlessly to recruit, equip, and empower employees to invest in the lives of the people we serve in this area. For more than 50 years, Systems Unlimited has been proudly delivering excellence in care for people with disabilities and mental health needs in Eastern Iowa. Our History Systems Unlimited was founded as a nonprofit in 1971 by a group of parents who wanted to ensure those we care for can live in safe, comfortable houses locally and be taught skills that allow them to live as independently as possible.
