SWWDB is one of Wisconsin's 11 regional boards established by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA), and is responsible for the planning and oversight of the workforce system in Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Rock counties. All services are driven by the needs of employers and workers and are available through the "one-stop" Job Centers, as well as through our Virtual Job Center - www.jobcenter.org. SWWDB represents the public/private nature of the workforce system. Board members represent private sector businesses, as well as leaders from education, labor, economic development, and other public agencies.

Montessori Children’s Garden has been serving the Fox Valley area for 15 years. We are located in Aurora, Illinois, just on the Dupage & Kane County line. We have students enrolled in our school from many of the western suburbs, including Aurora, Naperville, Oswego and Plainfield. We currently offer programs for preschool, kindergarten and elementary age students. We have three 3-6 classrooms and one elementary classroom. Our kindergarten program is available as a ½ day, all day, or extended day option. Extended day hours are available for all programs that need child care options for their student. For any of our students not going on into our kindergarten or elementary programs, parents can be assured that their children are well prepared for the curriculum of one of our nearby school districts which are district 202, 203, 204 and 308. We are proud of our uniquely talented and caring staff which has been a cornerstone of our success as a Montessori school. We believe that a strong relationship between the parents and teachers is key to developing a triangle of communication - students, parents, and teachers working together for the benefit of the child.
