The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB) is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting innovation and providing quality local workforce development programs and services to businesses and residents in Southwest Wisconsin. SWWDB is one of Wisconsin's 11 regional boards established by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA), and is responsible for the planning and oversight of the workforce system in Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Rock counties. All services are driven by the needs of employers and workers and are available through the "one-stop" Job Centers, as well as through our Virtual Job Center - www.jobcenter.org. SWWDB represents the public/private nature of the workforce system. Board members represent private sector businesses, as well as leaders from education, labor, economic development, and other public agencies.

Our Shared Values Integrity • Compassion • Inclusivity Horizons, A Family Service Alliance, with its headquarters at 819 5th Street SE in Cedar Rapids, provides a variety of human services across East-Central Iowa including Financial Health and Wellness, Neighborhood Transportation Service, Meals on Wheels, Elder Services, Community-Based Family Support, and the Survivors Program for families of homicide victims. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers share their time and talents which enable us to serve many more people in Iowa communities.

The Zach Johnson Foundation is a nonprofit organization that has created multiple programs in the Cedar Rapids community to support those in need. Kids on Course is a nonprofit program of the Zach Johnson Foundation, in cooperation with the Cedar Rapids Community School District. Kids on Course provides tutoring, enrichment, parent engagement strategies and health supports to put students on course to graduate college.

St Mark Youth Enrichment provides before and after school programs to children in title one schools in the Dubuque and Western Dubuque School Districts. Our focus is on social emotional learning and literacy. Programs involve local area nonprofit providers to enrich our students education and promote literacy and STEAM education.

Finding Solutions... Restoring Hope Our mission is to restore hope in individuals, families, and communities by helping people find solutions to their unique and diverse problems. We envision a community of partnerships that support individuals and families by making the kind of difference that results in happier, healthier citizens. Our therapists include marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and social workers, each with unique training and education. Every client is paired with a therapist who is competent in addressing the concerns prompting services.

Montessori Children’s Garden has been serving the Fox Valley area for 15 years. We are located in Aurora, Illinois, just on the Dupage & Kane County line. We have students enrolled in our school from many of the western suburbs, including Aurora, Naperville, Oswego and Plainfield. We currently offer programs for preschool, kindergarten and elementary age students. We have three 3-6 classrooms and one elementary classroom. Our kindergarten program is available as a ½ day, all day, or extended day option. Extended day hours are available for all programs that need child care options for their student. For any of our students not going on into our kindergarten or elementary programs, parents can be assured that their children are well prepared for the curriculum of one of our nearby school districts which are district 202, 203, 204 and 308. We are proud of our uniquely talented and caring staff which has been a cornerstone of our success as a Montessori school. We believe that a strong relationship between the parents and teachers is key to developing a triangle of communication - students, parents, and teachers working together for the benefit of the child.
