Des Moines Performing Arts is central Iowa’s premier not-for-profit performing organization. We present professional touring production direct from Broadway, and since our opening have positioned Des Moines as a top destination for world-class productions on their first national tours. In addition to bringing you our top-rated Willis Broadway Series at the Civic Center, we also: • Expanded our programming to include The Dance Series, The Temple Comedy Series and the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Family Series. • Operate the Stoner Theater, Temple Theater and Cowles Commons. • Are supported by nearly 7,000 contributors/donors. • Have a special Applause Series to provide educational opportunities for area students. • Enjoy an annual attendance of more than 350,000 visitors. • Contribute $32 million annually to Iowa's economy.

• Year-round planning, coordination and tactical support for United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) sanctioned seasonal youth sports tournaments including basketball, baseball and fastpitch softball• Responsible for organizing a coach-select annual All-State Showcase of top tournament performers and coordinate with partnering sponsors such as the Minor League Baseball Iowa Cubs• Act as site director at tournaments, overseeing athletic fields, coordinating professional staff and managing schedules and activities for youth sports across a statewide footprint• Provide diplomatic customer service and conflict resolution when dealing with referees, players, coaches, and parents to ensure accuracy, efficiency, satisfaction and safety• Counsel personnel to assume responsibility at events and assist in the training and oversight of rotating teams of customer-facing interns• Coordinate with court and field supervisors and park directors across a large geographic area to ensure sites are in appropriate tournament condition, quickly and effectively adapting when needed due to circumstances of weather, facilities damage, conflicts and directional change• Manage online information and scheduling through digital content management system

The Science Center of Iowa is a center devoted to lifelong learning featuring six dynamic experience platforms and where visitors can explore and experiment. By placing the power of learning in the hands of the visitor, the programmatic emphasis is not on “what” to learn, but “how” to learn. In addition to the experience platforms, SCI showcases a 175-seat John Deere Adventure Theater featuring live performances, and a 50 foot domed Star Theater. The Iowa Learning Center houses the educational programs for SCI and features resources for educators and students, the renowned preschool, outreach and distance learning programs.
