Continuing to grow within the institution, this position was created with me in mind to better fill operational gaps. The main priorities of the position lie around donor outreach and acknowledgment, ensuring all gifts are entered within our databases and allocated to the correct departmental needs. I serve as the liaison between all donors, in particular major donors, acting as concierge for them internally as well as at all major events. The key component of the Development side of this position lies in membership: maintaining all membership statuses, soliciting for renewals, and thanking donors individually for gifts, as well as for all major solicitations, including the Year End Appeal and Membership Drive. In addition, I work closely with the marketing manager to craft membership brochures and other Development documents (renewal notices, remittances, etc.). With a recent launch into video documentation of most Center events, it is my responsibility to manage video production of all in-house events from small lectures to exhibition tours. Working directly with the Development Committee of the Board of Directors is something that happens weekly if not daily, providing periodic reports, donor prospects, and more. A great deal of the marketing responsibilities lie in the digital aspect of our organization, maintaining our website as well as keeping all organizational content current on other websites where our information is hosted. Crafting posts and ads for social media is also a large part of this. When needed, print material requests are passed to me from various departments in a large spectrum of needs, from gallery guides to wine auction certificates. It offers a great diversity of work that round out into a well-balanced niche of the organization.
