WISE Trust – Workplace Insurance and Safety Employee Trust – is the defined benefit pension plan for almost 10,000 active, deferred, and retired workplace insurance and safety employees of Ontario. WISE Trust was established to give the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Ontario Compensation Employees’ Union (OCEU) an equal voice in the administration of the pension plan through a jointly sponsored pension plan. WISE Trust governed by a Board of Trustees, four appointed by the WSIB and four appointed by OCEU. Our core values – integrity, accountability, service excellence, inclusivity, and innovation – help us do what we do by guiding decisions we make and determining the partners we work with so that we can continue to find ways to strengthen the pension promise to our members now and into the future. Our comittment to equity, diversity, and inclusion: We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where all employees have the opportunity to contribute and grow personally and professionally, regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, family status or background. Pioneering technology, a century of experience & perfect manners When peace of mind is your most precious possession, you want a moving company that will baby your Baby Grand, and provide you with a peaceful night's sleep. Welcome to Day & Meyer, Murray & Young Corp, where we offer unique solutions to your moving and storage needs. Our fifteen story fireproof warehouse is conveniently located the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Constructed in 1927, it was designed by the architectural firm of Moores & Dunford whose Deco masterpiece from that same year was the original Queen's Quay in Toronto. It's a beautiful building; come see for yourself. But what's interesting, and not so readily apparent, is that it was designed to accommodate our exclusive Portovault storage system: steel vaults which travel by truck and are conveyed to racks in our warehouse, to minimize handling and afford the utmost in owner control. (Think Mini Storage for Monets.) The DMMY Portovault system also predates containerization by decades-which is pretty amazing when you consider that Day & Meyer started with a horse and cart! Today, the Day & Meyer, Murray & Young Corp. building remains the most efficient warehouse in existence for the specialized storage of art and other valuable household effects. And Portovault is not the whole story, either. We offer a complete range of services: moving, packing, shipping, installations, specialized storage for artwork and rugs, viewing areas, digital photo inventory. Now, under the third generation of family leadership Day & Meyer still prides itself on the kind of courteous attention you thought went out with the horse and cart.
