The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Our mission is to change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow. Our programs include emergency food assistance and free meals, as well as a farmers’ market, community gardens, nutrition education, culinary training, support for local growers and food systems, advocacy, and more. We partner with over 350 organizations to serve five counties of southern Arizona—over 23,000 square miles. We’re a proud member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks and hunger relief organizations. In 2018, we were named Food Bank of the Year by Feeding America.

The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project is the only organization in Arizona that provides free legal and social services to detained men, women, and children under threat of deportation.

When people face homelessness, Old Pueblo Community Services offers housing, counseling and support services to help them transform their lives. We serve those often forgotten and under-served in our community, including homeless veterans, persons returning from incarceration, and those experiencing long term chronic homelessness.

PCOA’s mission is to promote dignity and respect for aging, and to advocate for independence in the lives of Pima County’s older adults and their families. We are Pima County’s leading experts on aging well, advocacy, and unbiased information for older people and their families. Founded in 1967, PCOA was among the first aging services organizations in the nation. We are passionate about improving the experience of aging in our community.

Blind and low vision, people of all ages are provided with the opportunity to learn maximum independence and life skills through our non-visual training. We believe that it is not what you can see that matters, rather, it’s what you can do.

At JFCS, we believe in healing the world with loving kindness. Because mental health is essential to community health, we are committed to offering person-centered treatment with effective strategies for coping and emotional healing. We are trauma experts. Our core trauma-informed therapy services are available to Tucson’s children, families and adults who have witnessed, or have been victims of crime or abuse. Special trauma-related programs also serve Tucson's first responders, Holocaust Survivors, and others who have experienced recent and historical trauma. In addition to social services and trauma-related therapy, JFCS specializes in general counseling services for anxiety, family & marriage counseling, conflict resolution, bereavement, and other life challenges. We also provide direct emergency financial assistance, older adult support services, and Passover food baskets to struggling Jewish individuals and their families. Additionally, more than 60 Holocaust Survivors depend on JFCS for case management, counseling, financial assistance, in-home support services and socialization. For over 76 years, JFCS has served thousands of people of all faiths, age and gender groups, ethnic and racial backgrounds—regardless of their ability to pay. The Primavera Foundation provides pathways out of poverty through safe, affordable housing, workforce development and neighborhood revitalization. SAAF is the only community-based organization in Southern Arizona providing case management and ancillary support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, culturally appropriate prevention and education programs to reduce the rate of infection, and extensive trainings and opportunities for community members to fill critical support roles.

We specialize in pediatric in-home therapies for the disabled. Our primary focus is working with autistic children but we also offer services for all developmental disabilities.
