Willer Tool Corporation began as a small Tool and Die shop in 1970. With only a few employees and the most basic machines needed to get started in the industry, James Willer Sr. opened the doors to the original shop in Butler, Wisconsin. Jim's childhood dream of becoming a toolmaker, inspired by men in the trade whom he delivered newspapers to on his paper route, had been realized. Inspired also by his father in law who worked at Master Lock, he took a leap of faith to begin building his dream. The business began to grow and expand, enabling Jim to diversify and offer new expanded services to his customers. In the following years, Jim's sons, Kurt and Jim Jr., joined the team. The business is currently in its third location. A shop built in Jackson, WI was completed in 1997. Due to growing customer relationships, technological advances in the industry, and an eye on safety and quality of product, an addition was completed in 2015 to house the growing business. The implementation of a revitalized business management system in 2016 ensures an evolving and ever-improving workplace for the coming years.
