ROTATING EQUIPMENT REPAIR, INC
ROTATING EQUIPMENT REPAIR, INC
Sussex, Wisconsin
50-99 employees
Rotating Equipment Repair was founded in 1982 by three former Allis Chalmers Custom Pump Division employees. The company was founded on a commitment to customer service, improved design, and a commitment to technology. RER's mission statement: "To be the most sought after pump repair company in the markets served." Located in Sussex, WI, approximately 20 miles northwest of Milwaukee, our main facility is home of our manufacturing and engineering capabilities. Having outgrown two previous repair facilities and completing our most recent expansion, we now have 89,000 sq. ft. of production space, including: 50 ton over head crane and hydraulic test loop. The new world-class facility provides RER with adequate space and amenities to perform a multitude of pump repair and fabrication activities - including machining, assembly, inventory storage, and vertical pump activities in the high bay area - as well as sales and administrative functions all under one roof. We are extremely proud to now offer hydraulic testing services at our RER Test Loop! Whether you are an original equipment manufacturer, or the end user, our test loop is available for your testing needs. With flow capacities to 162,000 GPM, there are very few pump applications we cannot test. Our reservoir holds over 330,000 gallons of water, providing adequate supply of water while retaining laminar flow at the pump's suction. All of our pipes, flanges, and instrumentation on both 24" and 42" vertical pump lines are rated to 150 PSI. All of our Rosemount pressure transmitters are annually calibrated. A four pressure tap ring manifold is used to ensure accuracy of discharge pressure readings. Our Eaton 480v and 4160v variable speed drives are the work horses of our test loop. The 480v drive can power motors to 700 HP, while our 4160v drive can deliver power approaching 3000 HP. Today, our numbers reach over 65 employees. Rotating Equipment Repair provides high quality repairs, parts, and field service to the high energy pump market. We serve fossil, nuclear, pulp, petroleum, waste water, and the steel industries. We strive everyday to provide a quality product and a safe working environment. In addition to being an industry leader in the performance of pump repair and replacement activities, part fabrication, and field service support in the power generation, pulp & paper, and petrochemical industries, RER hold an ASME ‘NPT’ and National Board ‘NR’ Certifications. RER has been selected by OSHA to receive the coveted SHARP award for outstanding performance in safety and health in the workplace since 2009. RER is continually committed to expanding its capabilities in order to better provide for its nuclear and non-nuclear customers within the pump repair industry. RER’s first-class reputation is the direct result of its strict compliance to the highest standards for safety and quality in an unrelenting effort to exceed its Customer’s needs.
