North Country Hospital is a private, nonprofit acute care community hospital serving twenty-two communities in a two-county area in the rural Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I managed the day-to-day activities of the volunteer staff at Central Vermont Medical Center. Duties included: recruitment and retention, orientation, ongoing training, budgeting and dealing with the plethora of staffing issues that arise when overseeing 250+ volunteers. I also assisted in marketing, content management of CVMC's website, photography and managing special events such as health fairs and employee / volunteer recognitions. Coordinated fund raising initiatives under the VP of Community Relations & Development such as golf tournaments, annual appeal letters and CVMC's annual United Way campaign.
