Head of Underwriting Support and Assistance • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of underwriting support staff. • Develop and maintain underwriting support policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and address any discrepancies. • Collaborate closely with underwriters, accounting and claims professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to support underwriting activities. Compliance • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls. • Assist in gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and facilitating communication between auditors and relevant departments. Systems • Serve as a primary point of contact for system-related inquiries, issues, and escalations, providing timely and effective resolution. • Document system changes, release notes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training. Senior Underwriting Assistant • Process and issue Excess and Primary Policies for E&S underwriting. • Review and issue Endorsements.
