Southwest Training Services, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides employment and training services for Washington and Greene Counties. Specifically, economically disadvantaged, in-school and out-of-school youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Funds for these services are provided under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) legislation. We are also an operator in three PA CareerLinks in the Southwest Corner.

The seeds of Redemption were planted when founding members Gabriele “Bebe” Moratti and Daniele Sirtori, by then mere teenagers. The whole idea of a lifestyle made of freedom, manual invention and individuality stems from that encounter. The company was finally founded by the duo in 2013. Bebe Moratti is the line's creative director and image-maker, working on all collections and photo sessions that merge the codes of well-behaved, well-read elegance with the freedom and open-air energy of the biker lifestyle.

Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR) is a private non-profit organization founded in 1972 by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Organization of Women (NOW) in response to a series of rapes and growing public concern. This grassroots effort was first organized as a Task Force on Sexual Assault to discuss and develop a response to the problem of rape. The goal was to initiate a comprehensive program for rape research, treatment and prevention.

• Gathered documentation and accurately completed customer files for HEAP, CSBG, Workforce Development Training, Youth Engagement, and Computer Literacy programs.• Provided available payment options for clients by communicating with utility companies. • Provided case management and made external referrals for participants in Workforce Development Training and Youth Engagement programs. • Completed monthly financial reports for Board of Directors and grant funders.• Conducted one on one interviews for program enrollment as well as conducted Mock Interviews for Workforce Development Programs.• Conducted customer orientation sessions for multiple programs.• Program designer, recruiter, and facilitator of 12-week Youth Engagement program with over 40 youths• Trustee for Employee VEBA Fund

Founded in 1956, Laughlin Children’s Center provides clinical and academic services that empower children for success. Our clinical services include Speech, Occupational, and Psychological Therapy. Academic services: traditional tutoring, Orton-Gillingham services for students with dyslexia, educational testing, and evaluations. What We Do Founded in 1981, Family House is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization providing temporary housing to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital. Qualifying families live more than 50 miles from UCSF, and many live at or below the low-income status as determined by UCSF. Our location sustains nearly a 100% occupancy rate and can accommodate 250 people per night. Over the course of a year we serve more than 4,000 families. Family House is an independent organization led by a professional staff and board of directors dedicated to providing residential services free-of-charge to qualifying families. Since we receive no financial support from UCSF, or any other public entity, we rely solely on the generous contributions of individuals, corporations and foundations.
