As a private non-profit health and human services organization, MFHS works to meet the health and nutrition needs of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s women, children and families with information, education, and quality care. Founded in 1971, MFHS has been preventing disease, promoting wellness, and empowering individuals to realize the promise of better health for over forty years. HRC is a 501(3)c nonprofit organization based in Northeast Pennsylvania providing support and services to individuals with disabilities in Wayne, Pike, Carbon, Monroe, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna counties. Established in 1973, HRC began as a passion project to serve an underrepresented group of the community by promoting inclusion and acceptance. Over four decades later, HRC has grown into a devoted institution of over 400 caring and qualified employees with a shared goal in mind: serve and support.

United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA is dedicated to meeting the needs of local low-income families, seniors, and youth in our community, while also helping them to attain self-sufficiency. We achieve this through six diverse programmatic departments - Community (Crisis) Services, Child Care, Youth, Active Older Adult, Community Education & Revitalization, and Community Health - as well as a Housing/Community Development Corporation. STIC's mission has three parts. We provide assistance and services to people with all disabilities of all ages to increase their independence in all aspects of integrated community life. We also serve their families and friends, and businesses, agencies, and governments to enable them to better meet the needs of people with disabilities. Finally, we educate and influence our community in pursuit of full inclusion of people with disabilities.

RBL offers Day Program, In-Home and Community Support, Behavior Support Services, Employment Services and transportation for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.

The mission of Pocono Services for Families and Children is to provide resources for the evolving needs of community children and families, in support of efforts to achieve their goals. Services include Monroe County Head Start, infant/toddler care, school-age program/summer camp, Youth Empowerment Services, parenting education, youth mentoring initiative, health literacy and emergency assistance. There are many opportunities to volunteer, whether it's helping in a classroom, offices, our kitchen, or outside. We have preschool classrooms in the East Stroudsburg and Tobyhanna areas, and are a NAEYC accredited and Keystone Star 4 program. PSFC has been serving the community since 1965.
