My job was to keep customers in the AUTOMOTIVE/MANUFACTURING sectors happy by providing good talent and managing SCOPE/NEEDS, TIMING and BUDGET. This included but was not limited to:
- Designing and implementing full life-cycle recruiting strategy,
- Creating and updating job descriptions and specs,
- Preparing recruitment materials and posting jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc,
- Sourcing and recruiting candidates by using databases, social media etc,
- Screening candidates resumes and job applications,
- Conducting interviews using various recruiting and selection tools/methods,
- Assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes,
- On-boarding new employees (full process: drug test, background, skills testing, etc.),
- Monitoring and applying HR recruiting best practices,
- Providing reports and updates to managers/owners,
- Developing relationships by meeting and speaking with with active customers and prospects,
- Conducting on-site meetings for general announcements, updates, corrective action and being accessible to employees for personal concerns, feedback, etc.,
- Promoting company’s reputation and standards
