Managed all aspects of Human Resources for a family-owned, 75 employee national company including talent management and development, recruiting, advisor to senior management, benefits administration, payroll administration, workers compensation, and compliance. Responsible for HR budget (including salary forecasting).
•Developed and wrote all job descriptions, HR policies and employee handbook.
•Developed, implemented, and managed performance appraisal program utilizing position competencies as developed and reflected for roles and developed job descriptions and developing and communicating rating scale. Program focus was interactive, aligned with company goals and used in conjunction with compensation programs (annual merit increases and bonuses).
•Worked with employees to help resolve challenges within their team, employee performance, compensation, termination and staff reduction training, and benefits.
•Organized, implemented and communicated employee benefit programs including vendor review and selection, benefits open enrollment, and orientation. Coordinated with PTO, FMLA, and Workers Compensation programs to facilitate understanding.
