The Community Action Program Corporation is a non-profit community based organization that serves both Washington and Morgan County, Ohio. Washington-Morgan Community Action has grown from modest beginnings to a major employer and service provider. The organization is truly dedicated to helping people help themselves.

Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is an organization dedicated to alleviating the barriers placed by poverty in Appalachian Ohio. Community Action Agencies were founded on the idea that local citizens were the most knowledgeable and best equipped to address problems of poverty in their communities, Community Action gave previously powerless people the means to work toward their own self-sufficiency. For almost 50 years HAPCAP has been dedicated to alleviating the effects of poverty in our communities through administering new and innovative programs and creating opportunities for our neighbors. HAPCAP is one of 50 Community Action Agencies in Ohio and is proud to be a part of the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD). We are a private, non-profit, community-based organization serving Southeast Ohio. Over the years we have expanded to include six Head Start centers, three Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) offices, a Housing office and the Regional Food Center. As we continue working beyond our half-century mark we will continue to dedicate ourselves to Southeast Ohio, to becoming the voice of community members and to enabling self-sufficiency and an improved quality of life for everyone.

Allwell Behavioral Health Services is a private, not-for-profit provider of comprehensive community mental health services in Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble and Perry counties. Allwell was created in 2016 as a merger of Six County Inc. and Thompkins Treatment Inc. While Six County offered services to all ages, Thompkins Treatment specialized in youth aged 2 to 18. After conducting an analysis of our services, we determined that we could better serve our communities as a single entity. The merger will improve access to our services, enhance our quality of care, and reduce costs. Together, we integrate mental and physical care to offer the hope of wellbeing for you and every member of your family. Since the 1950’s, our services have expanded to meet the changing needs of our diverse communities. Because every client comes to us with unique values and problems, we mold our services to their needs to help them reach their full potential.

LEADS Community Action Agency is a private non-profit corporation which seeks to identify and remove the causes of poverty and provide direct assistance to alleviate the effects of poverty to result in greater self-sufficiency among low-income citizens of our area. LEADS offers food, clothing, affordable housing, home repair, free quality pre-schooling, health and nutritional assistance, help with utility bills and energy efficiency programs to save you money.
