Responsibilities ranged from but were not limited to.. Answering phone calls for general information as well as food orders, including: pick-up, party, holiday and gift orders. Taking down those orders and coordinating with both the deli and dining room sections of the restaurant until their completion. Also, working the host station, booking reservations, setting tables, helping customers find tables to their liking and provide an equal amount of business to each of the servers. Working cash register. Helping customers with both their sit-down, pick-up and delivery orders, on all fronts. From putting food orders in the computer to sending it out and making sure customers were happy with their experience, afterwards. Other responsibilities at register included: making sure customers' reward points were applied and redeemed, reconciling the cash drawer at the start of the day as well as the end of the night.
