Cedardale first opened in 1971 with four tennis courts on what one would consider farmland. Over the next almost 50 years the business progressed and changed with evolution of the ever dynamic health, fitness and the newly emerging wellness industry. The first 10 years saw land purchased to build an outdoor summer facility, our number of tennis courts grew to 14, and we added 10 racquetball courts along with a weight training area. Throughout the 80’s it was clear Cedardale was not just the place to play but also the place to socialize as well. Aerobics was the new rage so we added group exercise studios along with a cardio center full of treadmills, stairclimbers, rowers and more. Additional expansion included more space and equipment in our strength training area, our group exercise schedule now included spin classes, and we added a gym with basketball courts and indoor track. Cedardale established itself as a leader in not just racquet sports but also health and fitness. In early 2017 a devastating fire set us back but not out of the game. Opening a temporary facility in Andover helped us keep our Cedardale community together as the original Haverhill club was rebuilt. With our new home (Opened May, 2019) we look forward to growing our nutrition and wellness offerings as well as our group training program to provide our members with a well-rounded approach to a healthy lifestyle. Bald Peak Colony Club is a private club located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Donald Ross was the architect of its renowned 18-hole golf course.

• Responsibilities included accounting, systems, and human resources for $5 million member-owned club with 18-hole golf course, banquet facilities, restaurant, lounge, pool and tennis.• Systems experience includes maintenance, menu design and troubleshooting of JONAS including employee setup, item and category setup, security, and member files. Taught classes on Excel skills.• Within first year at ECC, saved over $30K a year in business insurance costs, $15K in workers’ comp costs, and $5K in external audit fees, the latter through a reduction of time spent by field auditors.• Improved human resource functions and reduced exposure to litigation by re-writing employee handbook.• Saved Club $23K in annual administrative wages by streamlining processes and taking a proactive approach to task completion, resulting in reducing labor in the accounting office by a half person or 20%%.• Within first six months, drastically improved the monthly reporting package by providing new statisticalreports, restructuring the P&L to departmentalize and compare to budget and last-year actuals. Otheradditions included Cash Flow Forecast, Member Tournament Analysis, Spending by Member type, Investment Performance, and Capital Expenditure Analysis.
