The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art opened its doors in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 2002 with a bold but simple vision—to promote picture-book illustration, as an art form, around the world. During its first 20 years, the Museum has been a tireless champion for picture book art, amassing a world-class collection of more than 9,000 original illustrations. Its traveling exhibitions reach more than half a million museum visitors around the globe each year. Innovative education programs focus on the joys of art and books for school children, families, children’s book creators, and educators. Through their vision and generosity, the Museum's co-founders, the late Eric Carle and Barbara Carle, made a commitment to the future of illustrated children’s literature. An engaged national board of trustees made up of publishers, scholars, educators, artists, and philanthropists ensures that The Carle continues to be relevant, forward-thinking, and financially sustainable. The Currier Museum of Art is New Hampshire's gathering place to celebrate art and community. Centrally located in historic Manchester, N.H., the Currier partners with community-minded businesses to bring art and commerce together. The Museum has an ever-changing exhibition schedule, diverse public programing for all ages and offers a collection of more than 13,000 American and European works of art by artists such as Calder, Hopper, Matisse, Monet, O’Keeffe, Picasso and Wyeth. The collection also includes the one-of-a-kind Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House. The only Wright building in New England that is open to the public.

Founded by renowned inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen, the SEE Science Center was dedicated in April of 1986 and has been engaging visitors of all ages in the pursuit of science discovery ever since. Located in Manchester, NH SEE is a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers and their passport program. The SEE Science Center is open Tuesday through Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm. SEE offers a variety of experiences: -Hands-on exhibits covering topics such as: forces, light, sound electricity, simple machines and more. -Daily Demonstrations -The LEGO® Millyard Project on permanent display. -Science Gift Shop -Group programs including field trip tours, labs and LEGO® programs. -Outreach programs for schools, libraries and community groups -Programs for adults, kids and families -Summer Camps -Birthday Parties -Annual Family Membership program By applying creativity, determination and attention to science curricula, SEE has been able to achieve consumer satisfaction among children, parents and teachers.
