Mission: Whaley Children's Center provides tools to children and families who have experienced trauma to reach their full potential. The Mott Residence is located on the main campus of Whaley Children’s Center, 1201 N. Grand Traverse St., Flint, MI 48506. It is a state of the art facility that opened in 1991, consisting of a large commercial kitchen, large meeting/conference room, family room and three self-contained cottages named McDonald, Vemco, and Johnson. Each of the cottages has single bedrooms, laundry, living room, dining room, library, and a small kitchen.
