As an eight year old, Rich Cohen was a fixture in his grandfather’s market in Springfield, MA, adding up grocery orders on a paper bag – a first indication of his love of numbers and the business. That market, Waverly Market, would become the foundation and inspiration for his company, Waverly Markets, LLC, owners and operators of ShopRite of Manchester, ShopRite of East Hartford, and ShopRite of Tri-City Plaza. Following the example of his grandfathers and his father, Stan Cohen, Rich and his wife Kye have made it their business to continue the tradition of families feeding families. Rich and Kye's daughter, Jordan Coe, was named President in 2018 after almost 20 years of service to the company. Two of Jordan's three brothers have been fixtures in the business over the years, with Alex dedicating 15 years and Zach joining the company more recently after a multifaceted career between Boston and New York. The family’s second store opened in the summer of 2010, and third in the spring of 2020. As a member of the Wakefern/ShopRite cooperative, the Cohen Family believes in the successful partnership created by large company buying power and local, family owned business. Their company is dedicated to providing an “Exceptional Experience” for its associates, customers and community. This culture of mutual respect is key to the family spirit of the company; and works to establish long term careers for its associates and meaningful relationships with its customers. Associates at Waverly Markets, LLC/ShopRite of Manchester are presented with excellent opportunities to grow within the company, extensive training and skill development and a commitment to helping all associates nurture their individual talents.

Back in 1985, Lemon Square had its modest beginnings by offering local communities a small selection of homemade-style baked goods. Over the years, its growing popularity & consumer base turned Lemon Square into one of the largest producers of quality baked products in the Philippines, offering the largest & most diverse product line to a mass market of millions. As a 100% Filipino-owned company, Lemon Square attained its position by understanding the tastes of its consumers. From the very start, Lemon Square’s vision of providing people with delicious yet inexpensive bakeshop-quality bread, cakes and pastries in the convenience of their favorite supermarkets and stores has been the foundation of its success. This tradition of baking goodness continues today, a testament to the dedication & passion of the people behind Lemon Square.
