Our product catalog is made up of a variety of marine vessels, including large and small deck barges, double hull tank barges, split hopper barges, dump scows, lift boats, push boats, tow boats, crane barges, offshore tug boats, fireboats, patrol boats, crewboats, offshore supply vessels (OSVs), dredges and ferries. Our repair facilities have drydocks ranging from 900T to 12,500T. Since 1948 we have delivered some of the finest quality marine vessels in the industry. Aries Marine Corporation, a privately held Louisiana Corporation, was formed in early 1981 to own and operate in the Gulf of Mexico self-elevating workboats (Liftboats) and Supply Vessels. Today, we also operate in the Mid-Atlantic region. The self-elevating work boats, also called Liftboats or Jack-Ups, provide mobile yet stable work platforms, crane capabilities and living accommodations for work crews performing services to offshore oil and gas production platforms. The Liftboats range in leg length from 130' to 215', and are capable of operating in maximum water depths of 175'. Primarily associated with drilling operations, the supply boats provide Aries with a diverse business mix within the marine industry. Our OSV's, as they are commonly called, or PSV's (Platform Supply Vessels) are the delivery trucks of the offshore sector. Our OSV vessels range in length from 220' to 254', all of which are dynamic positioning.
