Connecting People with Nature Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest is a privately funded 16,140-acre forest in Clermont, KY. We feature 40+ miles of hiking trails, the world-renowned Forest Giants in a Giant Forest art installation, newly opened 10-acred play area, Playcosystem, a fishing lake, bike trails, a LEED Platinum certified Visitor Center and many other beautiful ways to connect with nature. We are open daily 7 a.m. to sunset. Closed January 1, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25.

The Speed Art Museum, originally known as the J. B. Speed Memorial Museum, is Kentucky’s oldest and largest art museum. Its mission is to “invite everyone to celebrate art forever.” It is an independent and encyclopedic museum located on the campus of the University of Louisville. In 1927, Louisville philanthropist Hattie Bishop Speed founded the Speed Art Museum, with a belief in the power of art to change people’s lives.

Already recognized as a leader in inquiry-based learning, Kentucky Science Center is advancing a statewide science literacy campaign to encourage people of all ages to explore science in everyday life. Its flagship location on Louisville, KY’s historic Museum Row, welcomes visitors from across the globe with 3-floors of interactive exhibits and films on a 4-story screen. With daily programming for children, families, and adults, the Science Center plays an ongoing role in the region as a resource for caregivers and teachers, a gathering place for the science community, and a chosen source of entertainment for all.

The Kentucky Railway Museum, Inc. is A 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit Organization chartered in the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the purpose of education of the public regarding the history and heritage of Kentucky's railroads and the people who built them through the acquisition, restoration, preservation, display, and operation of the rail equipment and artifacts. KRM is dependent upon the generosity of our members and volunteers. Both play a key role in our organization and dedicate many hours every year. Our nation’s great communities are defined by great public park systems. Resting on the banks of the Ohio River, Southern Indiana is uniquely blessed by geography to have the opportunity to develop such a system.
