• Full cycle recruitment, including identify staffing needs, interviewing, selection, termination, and documentation
• Develop, administer, evaluate applications and testing
• Corrective action and disciplinary action
• Plan and conduct new hire orientation to foster poster attitude towards organizational objectives
• Plan, direct, lead, and coordinator work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
• Prepare and follow budges for personnel operations
• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, benefits, and opportunities for development and promotion
• Advise and coach managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, workplace harassment, and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes
• Maintain records and compile reports concerning personnel-related data, included but not limited to, application, absenteeism documentation, and performance evaluation
• Serve as a coach and adviser between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work related problems
• Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Complete and oversee employee verifications for both past and present employees
• Oversee the completion of paperwork from the following agencies: Job and Family Services, Child Support, Unemployment, BWC, and other organizations that may apply
• Provide eligible employees with current information regarding insurance (Heath, Dental, and Life) and 401K.
• Oversee full cycle payroll
