Believing in the dignity of all people, the objective of REAL Services is to assist in establishing a community in which those we serve can maintain their independence to the maximum degree possible and find meaning and satisfaction throughout their lives. To fulfill our mission, the programs we offer enhance quality of life. Additional programs provide education for individuals and families through Options Counseling, Aging and Disability Resource Center, Lunch n’ Learns, Chronic Disease Management, Medicare Counseling, Financial Literacy, and more. REAL Services is an umbrella organization for more than 20 programs that assist elderly, disabled and low-income individuals in 12 Northern Indiana County. Our programs address the needs of education, nutrition, self-sufficiency, and protection for 30,000 people in northern Indiana each year. REAL Services has three "divisions"​: Area Agency on Aging, Community Action Agency, and Alzheimer’s Services. These three divisions serve vulnerable older adults and low-income persons of all ages. The emphasis of the Area Agency on Aging is to assist older people to maintain independence as much as possible. The emphasis of the Community Action Agency is to assist low-income families to achieve self-sufficiency. Alzheimer’s Services of Northern Indiana provides support to those suffering from dementia. REAL Services is the Area Agency on Aging for the Older Americans Act which builds a network of services for older adults and the physically disabled. Community Services programs, which support single parents and low-income families, are designed to break the cycle of dependence on public assistance. Family & Children’s Center is one of northern Indiana’s major non-profit human services agencies. We serve more than one thousand children and families annually throughout St. Joseph County through our early childhood and parent education and support programs. Family & Children’s Center is dedicated to strengthening the holistic health of young families through Healthy Families, The Brain Train, counseling, and parenting programs. Since the doors of The Goshen Boys Club first opened in 1956, our organization has been a force for good in the lives of young people. As soon as Club members walk through our doors, they enter an environment of stability, consistency, and physical and emotional safety. Each day, we welcome more than 1,300 youth between the ages of six and 18 to our Clubhouses and school-based sites. Each day we build deeply powerful relationships with the youth we serve and open avenues of opportunity for young people across our community. Our Clubhouses run programs designed to be fun and engaging, while building skills and confidence for a successful future. Our areas of focus include Academic Success and Career Development, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. In addition, we offer programs in Sports and Recreation and the Creative Arts and have specialized programming for Teen members. We are located in neighborhoods where the greatest need exists. We’re open when kids need us most - after school, on most school breaks, and all day during the summer. Today, we have locations in Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, and Nappanee and serve over 6,000 youth annually.

Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) is a nonprofit multi-faceted, multi-management workforce development organization with its pulse on employment, education, and economic development. A catalyst for community and business investment in workforce, education, and economic development, building and enhancing collective capacity to succeed in a new global economy. Serving workforce and economic development organizations, employers, educational institutions, and nonprofits in Indiana and nationally. Commonly known for identifying and implementing best practices, CWI has administered more than 40 public and private ventures intended to improve the quality of the workforce, enhance the business climate, and ensure the realization of a higher quality of life. The Strategic Solutions Department of CWI provides consulting and project management services for customers nationally and in Northwest Indiana. The Strategic Solutions department work focuses on connecting private sector leaders with policy makers from government, education, economic development, labor, and community-based organizations to develop strategic action plans that are grounded in both quantitative and qualitative data.

Coalition for the Homeless is the nation's oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women, and children. We are dedicated to the principle that affordable housing, sufficient food, and the chance to work for a living wage are fundamental rights in a civilized society. Since our inception in 1981, the Coalition has worked through litigation, public education, and direct services to ensure that these goals are realized.

We build highways, provide drivers licenses, protect our children and vulnerable populations, create jobs, connect Hoosiers to job opportunities, maintain state parks, train law enforcement officers, and we run museums and hospitals.
