Here, I processed payroll, recorded all expenses to the general ledger, tracked fixed asset and business property expenses, made general journal entries, processed all reconciliations, month end close, financial reporting ,and assisted with analysis and other special projects. I processed AP/AR, invoicing and deposits and recorded the daily cash, sales and credit card transactions from our tasting rooms to the accounting system and general ledger. I also functioned as the onsite HR Manager and was tasked with making sure MEBC was a safe workplace and that we simultaneously reduced risk to the company and our employees while increasing safety practices, awareness and compliance. I handled all on-boarding of new hires, performance and due diligence on employee benefits and employee benefits administration, unemployment responses, employment verifications and communications with the EDD, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and employee terminations. I also planned employee engagement events, maintained employer workplace postings and communications. I was responsible for setting up and maintaining the accounting and personnel files and maintaining the databases for our HR, benefits and accounting.
