Hui Malama Learning Center, a non-profit, United Way member agency, is located in the heart of Maui, Hawai'i. Hui Malama has provided educational alternatives and academic support services to over 20,000 children, families and adults in Maui County, by helping students to realize academic and personal success and improve their employment opportunities. Hui Malama's class environment and strengths-based educational philosophy allows its teachers to create curriculum and employ teaching methods that incorporate students’ individual learning styles and motivates even the most discouraged learner. Its goal is to inspire and support lifelong learning among those who have had negative experiences in their educational pursuits.
