Process and screen applicants with the Department of Children and Families/Medicaid database for background checks, driving records, and drug testing. Process talent assessment screening for all new candidates. While assisting with new hire process, enter and prepare new employee files while ensuring they contain all required, signature completed documents. Enter and verify I-9 documentation and maintain books. Develop and implement systems and procedures for office operations. Prepare and mail new hire, open enrollment, and promotion letters. Maintains active and terminated employee files. Enroll and process employees with COBRA and health benefits. Maintains positive and productive staff relationships and working conditions, which support and contribute to the effectiveness of the staff in the performance of their responsibilities. Fulfilling all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established guidelines and policies, while maintaining full confidentiality at all times.
