At Costa Farms, it’s in our DNA to grow, and we’re passionate about plants! So much so that we grow more than 1,500 varieties on 5,200 acres. A 60-year-old family-run company, we started on just 30 acres when our founder, Jose Costa Sr., grew tomatoes and calamondin citrus. We started innovating and got into tropicals and houseplants. It didn’t take long before we were introducing rare varieties. We’re still at it today: Our Plant Hunter travels the world to find beautiful, easy-care plants for in and around your home. Today, Costa Farms is one of the largest horticultural growers in the world. Our passion extends to outdoor garden plants, as well. We’re excited to grow a variety of gorgeous flowering plants for tropical landscapes — or for container gardens on decks and patios in areas outside of Florida. We’ve been growing annual flowers for more than 20 years in Miami and North Carolina. In 2012 an expansion into South Carolina allowed us to begin offering perennial flowers to retailers in the Southeast.

Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) is a nonprofit healthcare organization that has been providing affordable and culturally-sensitive quality primary and behavioral healthcare services to South Florida residents since 1971. As a federally qualified health center accredited by the Joint Commission, CHI operates 11 state-of-the-art primary care centers and 35 school-based programs. Additionally, CHI’s physicians are board-certified. To continue our legacy of being a beacon of hope for our community, CHI most recently embarked on a mission to build the first comprehensive Children’s Crisis Center in southern Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties to provide a haven for children suffering from mental illness.

Ocean Reef Community Association (ORCA) is a large and unique homeowner association that was formed in January 1959 and consists of approximately 2,000 property-owning members. Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. is a nonprofit agency founded in 1986. Le Jardin has over 25 years of experience in providing Early Childhood Education services to the southern regions of Miami-Dade County. When the agency began, we only served 20 children, currently we serve over 600 children annually from birth to five years of age. In addition to providing exceptional care to the children, we provide comprehensive services to the parents, such as case management, parental training, health services, and nutritional training. Our family workers assist the families by making referrals to educational, vocational, employment, housing, medical, dental and transportation providers. Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. also provides supplemental services to promote and support family and child health, and special education services to children with IEP/IFSP’s. The mission of Le Jardin is to improve the quality of life for children and families in our local communities. We provide comprehensive, high-quality educational, recreational and cultural activities in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. A strong curriculum is used to develop social and cognitive skills, as well as to promote self-esteem, self-awareness and ethnic pride.
