Grow Public Schools (Formerly Grimmway Schools) is a growing network of high-performing, college-prep public charter schools in Kern County, California. Our schools are lead by a home office, based in Bakersfield. We are focused on setting our schools up for success. Our vision is for Grow Public Schools to transform the educational landscape for students in the rural areas of Kern County by providing a model of excellence and innovation leading to college readiness and lifelong success. Our mission is for Grow Academy Arvin and Grow Academy Shafter, K-8 public schools, to close the achievement gap for students in the rural areas of Kern County by creating an environment for student excellence and well-being. Grow Public Schools provides wide-ranging support for each campus, including: strategic planning and new school growth opportunities executive leadership across the school network back-office support in the disciplines of finance, accounting, compliance, and human resources external communications, marketing, development, and partnership formation This way, our schools can focus on teaching and learning.

STEPS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to reduce the education gap by charging for tutoring and college advising services and donating 100% of the profits towards underprivileged students in low-income communities. So far, we have raised over $20,000 and have donated or plan to donate them in the form of technology that students in these communities can use. - Work alongside the other Executive Officers and Board of Directors to help the non-profit market itself and expand into regions across the U.S. to become a national organization - Interview, manage the progress of, and expand the Regional Director and Brand Ambassador team - Work on facilitating partnerships between school PTA's and STEPS in order to give back to the schools' communities in the form of scholarships for students

Support the organization with all HR related objectives including, but not limited to: recruiting support, benefit administration, employee relations, performance management and evaluation programs, policy interpretation, facilitation of new hire orientation, processing Leaves of Absence, administering and processing new hire paperwork and pre-employment forms, preparing and maintaining key HR reports and metrics, and other activities as required to carry out the organization's HR objectives. Provide Human Resources support and services to multiple locations.

The Grimm Family Education Foundation is committed to helping raise educational expectations and outcomes for students throughout Kern County – and beyond – through charter schools and edible schoolyards. We develop innovative and sustainable educational and healthy food programs for children and families in under-served, rural areas.
