- Perform as a main point of contact for all new hire processing, onboarding, background check, employee exists, employee relations in 3 states: California, Texas and Maryland.
- Maintain necessary record keeping and filing on personnel files, I-9s, promotions, transfers, workers compensation, performance reviews forms and termination.
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Manage and respond to EDD claims
- Analyze and write job descriptions
- Manage compliance of state, federal laws and regulations including 401(k), workers compensation claims, insurance records, annual open enrolment process, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA.
- Ensure Workplace Safety, do the inspection, keep record of OSHA’s Form 300, injury/illness reports; enforce OSHA compliance and COVID 19 guidelines at the work place and warehouses.
- Keep track legally required training programs including harassment prevention and safety awareness.
- Evaluate, review the company’s policies, employee handbook on yearly or as needed basic to make sure company's policies and procedures are up to date with laws and regulations.
- Nurture a positive working environment, enhance employee relations, promote a high level of employee
- Facilitate conflict resolution and issue disciplinary documentation including corrective actions & terminations.
- Support the business through change management activities, especially during the pandemic.
