Mployer Advisor Founder and CEO Brian Freeman was recently featured on “The Job Stories Podcast,” a podcast from Nashville, Tennessee-based WELD Recruiting–a firm that specializes in recruiting IT professionals.

In each episode of “The Job Stories Podcast,” the show’s two hosts Matthew McSpadden and Mason McSpadden (who also happen to be WELD Recruiting’s Co-Founders) interview entrepreneurs, CEOs, regional technology leaders, and founders about their career journeys.

During Freeman’s recent podcast episode, he was asked about the trajectory of his professional life and his decision to pursue entrepreneurship and–eventually–found Mployer Advisor.

Freeman described coming out of business school, joining HCA, and his desire to come to work each day and make a difference in the lives of patients. Freeman also discussed his excitement around driving greater healthcare transparency through data and remove any existing friction in the system.

When asked about what Freeman looks for when hiring to fit Mployer Advisor’s unique culture, he noted three specific qualities.

“I look for individuals who are mission-driven, positive, and proactive,” Freeman said. “If you can find a person with all these qualities, then there’s nothing they can’t do.”
