Mployer evaluates brokerages across several factors, both qualitative and quantitative, to help employers understand and compare the experience and performance they are likely to have when choosing a partner.
Highlighting top-rated insurance advisors is our goal. By providing the industry’s first rating, we enable employers to select the best insurance advisor for their needs. To do that, we summarize all of the data with an "M Score".
An “M Score” is a rating of each brokerage based on historical data to gauge both the range of experience an individual brokerage has, as well as an employer’s experience using that firm.
Across the range of health insurance brokers can offer products ranging from individual coverage to business covering medical to property and voluntary. While most brokers are licensed across a number of lines, our goal is to help employers find brokers with expertise in their specific needs, company size and in their industry. Our opinion is that a knowledge base in those areas allows a broker to better create insurance design and consulting services to fit a specific client and that is the basis for our proprietary score.
A brokerage can edit their profile to add information that we may not have available. That information will then be factored into the score - for example if a brokerage has experience in a certain sector but we do not have record of it, and it is added to the profile, the score will then be recalculated. Note, we reserve the right to audit any fields that are self reported. If the audit fails, your account will be suspended.
