We aim to create long-lasting community change by addressing the underlying causes of the most significant local issues. We believe that it takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. We convene people from all across the community – government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, and fellow citizens – to tackle the issues. Why? Because we all win when… - A child is able to achieve their potential and succeed in school. - A family becomes financially stable and independent. - Individuals are able to achieve and maintain good health throughout the stages of their lives.

Totowa, New Jersey
11-50 employees
Emergence is a Gospel-Centered, missional, multiplying community committed to telling people the good news of Jesus Christ. We long to see the church full of equipped missionaries, filled with vision and purpose in the north Jersey area.We believe that the Bible tells the story of a just and loving God actively pursuing broken, sinful humanity in order to reconcile it to Himself. The simple deep truth found in 2 Corinthians 5 sums it up well:“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God"We believe that God calls the local church to join Him in His mission. His mission is our mission - the glory of God through the Gospel - and everything we do is for that purpose. And that is why at Emergence we long to see a community of people Loving Jesus, Loving People & Plowing a Counter-Culture.
