Finger Lakes Community Health is an independent healthcare organization, founded in 1989 as a provider of healthcare for agricultural workers. To us, building a healthy community is not simply a matter of providing health services, but of being true champions for wellness. We always ensure high-quality care for the communities we serve with an emphasis on underserved and special populations. We pride ourselves on providing healthcare for everyone in the Finger Lakes region including Bath, Geneva, Newark, Ovid, Penn Yan, Port Byron, and Sodus, and Dundee Dental. Six of our health centers, Geneva Community Health, Penn Yan, Ovid, Port Byron, Newark, and Sodus Community Health, have been nationally recognized as Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Homes. We also administer a federal migrant voucher program, one of 22 in the country, to provide health services to farm workers in 42 upstate NY counties. Incorporated in 1968, PEACE, Inc. is a non-profit community-based organization with the mission of helping people in the community realize their potential for becoming self-sufficient. PEACE, Inc. believes in the strength of the human spirit and is dedicated to changing lives by teaching people how to help themselves and support those around them. To this end, PEACE, Inc. provides a continuum of services for the entire family from infants to the elderly. The majority of individuals we serve have incomes placing them at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines. PEACE, Inc. is Onondaga County’s federally designated Community Action Agency. As part of the national network of Community Action Agencies, PEACE, Inc. seeks to help people become more self-sufficient by strengthening families, improving the conditions in which people live, encouraging people to own a stake in their own community, and developing partnerships with other organizations, businesses, and individuals to support these efforts. PEACE, Inc. receives funding for its programs and services through a variety of federal, state, and local government sources, as well as from many foundations and corporations. PEACE, Inc. offers programming and training to provide our families with the necessary tools and skills to move from poverty to self-sufficiency.

JM Murray is a diverse two-pronged service organization. The Services Division provides compassionate support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Business Services Division offers contracted business services to various public and private organizations. The two sides of the organization merge to offer people with disabilities the opportunity to obtain legitimate employment in a real world work environment while also teaching them valuable skills, improving their self-esteem, and enriching their lives.

Since 1887, the Rescue Mission has put love into action through shelter, food, clothing, and hope. Headquartered in Syracuse, NY, we are a 100% local and independent nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness. We provide programming in Syracuse, Auburn, and Binghamton, NY. In Syracuse, the Rescue Mission is the only organization to serve three meals a day, 365 days a year to anyone in the community in need of a hot meal. We also operate a 183-bed emergency shelter for men and women. Permanent housing includes Crossroads, a 59-bed NYS licensed congregate care home, and 39 units of permanent supportive housing. All program participants are eligible to receive assistance and case management to transition to independent living, including: workforce development, spiritual care and counseling. Our Syracuse campus is also home to the Homeless Intervention Services (HIS) Team - the only full-time street outreach program - meeting with and assisting individuals experiencing street homelessness. Under development is an Emergency Youth Shelter, with an aim to open in late 2021. In Auburn, New York, we meet the needs of families and women experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We operate 28 units of permanent, supportive housing in Merriman Circle. Our staff is trained in trauma-informed care, and throughout the year, we provide support and enrichment activities for our children and families, including field trips, holiday parties, and summer camp. The Binghamton Rescue Mission provides a residence for men who have experienced homelessness or are referred by local agencies. Whitney Place houses a 21-bed dormitory on the first floor, along with 11 single-occupancy rooms with a shared kitchen on the upper level. Additionally, we provide supportive, permanent, affordable housing in a nearby single family home. Looking ahead, the Binghamton Rescue Mission is currently working to renovate a second property on Whitney Avenue to house formerly homeless women.

AIM Independent Living Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to people with disabilities, their families and friends, the businesses that serve them, and those with an interest in disabilities. AIM's mission is to support an individual’s ability to make independent, self-directing choices through education, advocacy, information and referral. AIM is part of the international movement of independent living and has been in business for more than 30 years. As an independent living center, AIM provides four core services: Peer counseling; information and referral; independent living skills; and individual and systems advocacy. These core services support many programs and services under the AIM umbrella. AIM turns no one from its doors. All disabilities are welcome. There is no economic or other qualifying requirement. The Board of Directors and the staff of AIM are predominantly individuals with disabilities; they act then as peers to our consumers and have a fuller understanding of what it means to live the life of an individual with disability.
