Created Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam’s Foundation, whose mission is to teach children the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition and offer aspiring junior golfers opportunities to pursue their dreams.
Collaborated with two key partners – The First Tee and Florida Hospital for Children - to develop a new, comprehensive youth health and wellness program, Nine Healthy Habits, to be implemented in over 4,000 schools nationally.
Launched a national partnership with SPARK, the leading physical education program for children in schools, to implement SPARK in 400 schools across Florida and Arkansas, positively impacting over 369,000 kids.
Conducted signature junior golf initiatives, including the award-winning ANNIKA Invitational in the USA, China and Sweden, while also conducting educational programs for the juniors on proper nutrition, skin care and media management.
Collaborated with several national leading nonprofit organizations to develop new programs, including the Women’s Sports Foundation, Athletes For Hope, the National Association for Sport and Physical Education and the Clinton Foundation.
Developed strategy and plan for the ANNIKA Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art children’s health and wellness center in Central Florida.
Lobbied annually on Capitol Hill for $80 million in federal funding for physical education programs, supporting National Health Through Fitness Day.
Fundraised over $2.5 million by conducting key signature events (ANNIKA & Friends) and through donors and grant funding.
