An Independent Insurance Agency with Decades of Experience & Expertise You Can Trust Roland Capone Sr. founded the agency in the early 1940s in Watertown, Massachusetts. His son, Roland Capone Jr., joined him in the business in the late 1960s, and the agency clustered with a group of agents in the Paul Burrage Insurance Agency in Waltham. In 1975, William “Bill” Rynne and Roland Capone joined together and purchased the Leo Gallitano Agency in Waltham. The grouping of agencies was known as The Waltham Insurance Center, but as the agency soon had clients throughout New England, it changed its name to WIC Insurance. In 1980, the company acquired the William Joyce Agency of Waltham and folded its operation into WIC Insurance. The agency also purchased the Wilmington Insurance Agency (1988) and Sutcliff Insurance in Wrentham (1989). The agency has continued to grow and is now one of the largest insurance agencies in the area.
