As a Chief Engineer at Pathfinder Systems, my responsibilities include:
Systems Engineering:
• Creating RTVM(s) derived from Top-Level Customer Requirements
• Deriving Work Breakdown Structures for D.O.D. projects
• Systems Design to interface various flight control systems in real-time
• Create & host SRR’s, PDR’s, CDR’s, and Acceptance Testing program phases
Mechanical Engineering:
• Designing mechanical solutions from concept to customer delivery & F.A.T.
• Optimizing parts for: Additive Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Composite Molding, Mill, Lathe, Injection Molding
• Creating Documentation Packages for D.O.D. systems
• Thermodynamic and FEA Analysis
• Dynamic modeling for flight ready hardware
Control Systems:
• Implementing the software solution on Field Bus Controllers and Motion Controllers automate training weapon controls operating in real-time
• Mapping and integrating sensors such has Optitrack, linear encoders, rotary encoders, and proximity sensors to feed to real-time control systems
• Implementing control systems designs on embedded systems platforms
Software:
• C/C++/C#, Visual Studio, Arduino, Linux on Embedded Systems, object oriented programing
• GUI I/O Operating Station Design
Electrical Engineering:
• Circuit design for integration of COTS solutions and embedded system through Elecworks
• Communication Bus’: SPI, RS-232, CAN, PWM, GPIO
