Intrex Aerospace is a contract manufacturer of machined components for space, aerospace and defense. Our 75,000 sq. ft. facility is located in Thornton, CO. Our primary focus is manufacturing high precision machined components for aerospace, space, and defense. We have over 35 CNC machines. We machine complex shapes (3-4-5 axis), from a wide range of materials. Our CNC machines consist of milling centers (both horizontal & vertical), CNC single spindle turn/mill lathes (2-3 axis), CNC twin spindle turn/mills (up to 7 axis), CNC mill/turn w/ATC (5 axis simultaneous). Several of our machines have automatic load/unload robots, for higher volume work. Much of our work is machining thin walled parts (couplers, flanges). We can also provide some level of assembly. Our expertise is producing tight tolerance/ high finish components. We manage our business using a powerful, flexible ERP/MRP Epicor system. The Epicor system coupled with our experience with program management, allows us to manage the most demanding supply chain needs. Much of our supply chain systems work consists of High Mix/Low Volume, common in the aerospace, space, defense, world. We are ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified. Much of our business is defense/military related. We are ITAR compliant. In addition to having a central climate controlled Quality room, we also have (5) Zeiss shop floor CMM's, located in work cells located throughout our facility, which gives us quality capabilities, nearer the source of production.
